Aetna in Texas markets six different HSA health insurance plans with three including dental coverage. Of these six plans, four provide comprehensive coverage and two are catastrophic health insurance plans covering preventive care and hospitalization.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) is a non-profit health insurance company founded 70 years ago as the first hospital pre-payment plan in the nation. Today, the parent company of BCBSTX also operates Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.

The 3.9 million members of BCBSTX have access to a network of 51,000 physicians and 658 hospitals in Texas, as well as national coverage through the BlueCard® program with more than 745,000 physicians and 6,300 hospitals.

In Texas, Celtic members can choose from five different High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) with deductibles ranging from $1,500 to $5,000 for individuals and $3,000 to $10,000 for families. For three of their plans the out-of-pocket maximum is the same as the deductible – once the member has met the deductible Celtic will pay for 100% of all subsequent in-network benefits for the remainder of that calendar year.

HumanaOne in Texas offers affordable health insurance plans for individuals and families. In fact, HumanaOne offers the most consumer driven health plans in the state with a total of 16 HSA-qualified health insurance plans, half of which include dental coverage. The deductibles for these plans range from $1,500 to $5,200 for individuals and $3,000 to $10,400 for families. For all of HumanOne’s HSA insurance plans in Texas the out-of-pocket maximum is the same as the deductible, making their plans easy for members to understand.

UniCare in Texas offers some of the most affordable health insurance plans for individuals and families in the state; of the ten least expensive HSA health insurance plans in Texas, five of them are from UniCare.
